Cookie Policy

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. It can remember a session, support security, or produce visit statistics. Browser localStorage can do similar work; this policy covers both.

2. Technologies we use

We do not rely on a required session-cookie set for the site to load. Theme preference (`theme`) and language preference (`language`) are stored in localStorage and are not sent as an advertising profile.

The on-site chat widget stores history under `leonx-chatbot-messages` in your browser only.

3. Measurement and advertising tags

Google Analytics 4 (G-HSXV0YK1WD) loads through Google Tag Manager (GTM-5QLKMLHB). The Google Ads conversion tag (AW-18228410281) loads directly on the site. Google may set cookies such as `_ga`, `_ga_*`, and `_gcl_*`.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Vercel Analytics is not used.

Advertising and analytics storage are denied by default (Consent Mode v2). Accept on the banner grants `analytics_storage`, `ad_storage`, `ad_user_data`, and `ad_personalization`. Closing the banner (X) is not consent; only necessary storage remains. Choices are stored under `leonx_cookie_consent_v1`.

4. Attribution and forms

Campaign parameters (UTM, `gclid` / `wbraid` / `gbraid`, `fbclid`) and the referring URL may be stored in first-party localStorage (`leonx_attribution_v1`) so we can attribute form requests to the right channel. These identifiers may be sent to our CRM lead record; email/phone PII is not sent to Google Analytics.

5. Purpose and duration

Measurement data is used to improve content, spot technical issues, and report marketing/ad performance. Google cookie lifetimes follow Google defaults. LocalStorage entries remain until you clear them or they expire.

6. Your controls

Use Accept on the cookie banner to enable measurement and advertising storage, or close it with X. Closing the banner is not consent.
